The Wooten 150 back at the border league

We’re excited to announce that the Wootten 150, the elite showcase that serves as a major pathway to the McDonald’s All American Game, will officially be a part of The Border League this year — starting October 2nd.

This is an invitation-only event and one of the most significant talent evaluations in the high school basketball calendar.

🔥 Why This Matters

The Wootten 150 has become a key proving ground for the next wave of elite high school athletes. In fact, 21 of the 24 boys selected for the McDonald’s All American Game last year participated in the Wootten 150 — cementing its role as the gateway to the game’s biggest honors.

Now, with its integration into The Border League, this pipeline is even more direct.

🏀 What to Expect in 2024

  • Top 150 players from across the country, hand-selected by Wootten evaluators

  • Scouts and media from every level — NBA, NCAA, national recruiting services

  • A high-intensity, nationally televised atmosphere on ESPN, NBA TV, and BallerTV

  • NBA scouts already confirmed to attend (29 teams last year)
